Belconnen Arts Centre

Belconnen Arts Centre (Belco Arts) is a purpose-built multi-arts precinct on the northern bank of Lake Ginninderra. Its six hire spaces span from a 320-seat theatre with full production capabilities to a contemporary gallery and a purpose-built dance studio, making it a practical choice for corporate presentations, awards nights, professional performances, workshops, and film screenings.

The Theatre — Events is the flagship space. In flat-floor configuration it holds 320 seats (or 192 banquet at tables of 8); in standard raked mode, 204. The stage measures 6 m × 11 m, a 6 m-wide projection screen drops from the ceiling, and retractable seating banks and colour-customisable house lighting give event organisers maximum flexibility. North-facing windows frame Lake Ginninderra throughout, and the in-house Kiln bar provides full bar service. Every event booking includes a dedicated Duty Manager and professional lighting and AV operators.

The Theatre Foyer (240 sqm, 120-person capacity) features a striking suspended LED lighting installation that spans the full length of the space and can be dialled to any colour or effect — ideal for cocktail receptions and official launches. The Generator Gallery (up to 350 sqm, 50 people) works as an exclusive gallery-and-event hybrid available outside public opening hours, with a paved lakeside breakout area. The compact Dance Studio (97 sqm, 48 people) has a sprung Victorian Ash floor, full-length mirrors, blackout curtains and a plug-and-play sound system, and is best suited to movement-based classes and rehearsals. The Meeting Room (40 sqm, 20 people) is a straightforward professional space with a 65-inch Ricoh interactive whiteboard and a kitchenette.
