aMBUSH Gallery Kambri — listed by the precinct as The Gallery — occupies the top floor of the Lowitja O’Donoghue Cultural Centre, ANU Building 153, in the heart of the Kambri precinct. It is run as a social enterprise and creative placemaking business rather than a conventional gallery, so the room moves easily between exhibitions, product launches, conference dinners, networking evenings and private celebrations.

The main space is a 192 sqm white-walled gallery with 3.85 m ceilings and generous natural light, opening onto a 105 sqm balcony that looks out over Kambri’s lawns and eateries. Standing receptions run to 150 people, with smaller boardroom, cabaret and seated-dinner arrangements when the event calls for tables. Hire includes a wireless lectern microphone, a handheld microphone, two PA speakers, background music playback and an 80-inch display on a trolley; additional microphones and a digital mixer can be added.

Guests arrive through a 300-space underground car park with lift access directly into the gallery, discounted event rates and free weekend parking, and the precinct sits a short walk from Civic and the light rail.
