Work Club Two24 Bunda occupies Level 12 of the Two24 building on Bunda Street, looking out over Glebe Park from one of the higher floors in the city centre. It is a members’ workspace first, but the conference and event facilities are available for hire, and the combination of a landmark address, floor-to-ceiling views and hotel-style service makes it a different proposition to a hotel function room.
The largest gathering space is the Club Lounge, which takes up to 100 guests standing for a cocktail reception or seats 80 for a sit-down function. It suits product launches, networking evenings, client functions and end-of-year celebrations, with the city and parkland views doing much of the work.
For daytime business the venue runs a conference centre with a spread of room sizes. Meeting rooms are configured for two, four, six or eight people, a boardroom seats up to 12, and a dedicated training and workshop space handles groups of up to 140 — enough for a full-day seminar, an all-staff session or a multi-stream workshop. Every room is on high-speed Wi-Fi, and unlimited printing, scanning and copying is included.
Service is a large part of the offering. A hotel-style concierge is on site from 9am to 5:30pm, with 24/7 building access for members, and guests have use of the members’ kitchen, complimentary fresh fruit, tea and coffee, and the SAGAS Café downstairs. Luxury showers, lockers and bike storage sit alongside the workspace for anyone riding or running in.
Getting there is simple. The building connects directly to the Canberra Centre, Alinga Street light rail is about a six-minute walk, and secure parking is a minute away. Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial, Lake Burley Griffin and the National Museum of Australia are all a short drive, which helps when interstate guests are making a day or two of the trip.
Event and venue-hire enquiries go through the Work Club website.
