It is a genuinely big room — 17 metres by 10.5 metres of parquetry flooring under high ceilings — with a 12-metre stage at one end and an enclosed courtyard just outside, which makes it a flexible choice for wedding receptions, large workshops and community celebrations alike.
The hire includes 25 lightweight trestle tables and 60 chairs, and the kitchen comes with a dishwasher, fridge, microwave and hot water urn, though you will need to bring your own crockery, cutlery and glassware. There is no in-house AV, so anything beyond the lectern is worth arranging in advance. Hire is charged by the hour, which suits shorter celebrations that do not need a full-day venue booking, and both bathrooms are accessible.
