Vibe Hotel Canberra sits right beside the airport terminal at Brindabella Business Park, about twelve minutes from the city centre. It is a newer, design-led property rather than a heritage one, and its event spaces were purpose-built rather than converted — six rooms with plenty of natural light and floor plans that can be reconfigured for a ceremony, a sit-down reception or a cocktail party.

The two largest rooms, CBR1 and CBR2, are 96sqm each and open into a single 192sqm space, with the hotel taking weddings of up to 200 guests. Four smaller rooms — named after airport codes, like the rest of them — cover everything from a 30-person gathering to a 16-seat table, which makes them useful for pre-drinks, a getting-ready space or a small ceremony before the main room turns over. Catering is handled in house with seasonal menus starting at $99 a head, Helix Bar & Dining takes care of food and drinks either side of the event, and 191 rooms upstairs mean interstate guests can land, check in and walk to the reception.
