Albert Hall is one of Canberra’s oldest and most beloved event venues, a heritage-listed 1928 building set beside Lake Burley Griffin on Commonwealth Avenue. The grand main hall features original timber floors, a soaring ceiling and ornate detailing that creates an atmosphere few modern spaces can replicate. Managed by ArtHouse ACT, the hall is available for private hire for weddings, gala dinners, balls and cultural events, with a capacity of up to 450 in the main space.
