Inner South YarralumlaThe Yacht Club is the Southern Cross Club’s venue on the lake, tucked into Lotus Bay at the end of Mariner Place in Yarralumla. It is the one club venue in Canberra where the view does most of the work: the balcony looks straight out over Lake Burley Griffin, and it is covered enough to stay usable when the weather turns, which matters for a spring or autumn function.
Inside, the Lotus Room is the main private dining space and keeps the lake outlook, while the Wardroom is the smaller room for dinners, meetings and conferences. The Yacht Club Restaurant itself can be booked out for a full event. Day to day the restaurant runs Wednesday to Sunday with a buffet on weekends, and Snapper & Co. handles casual meals seven days a week. Parking is on site and free for the first two hours.
